About NODS

The National Organization for Development Society (NODS) is a Yemeni NGO founded in 1997, originally focusing on rehabilitation and training. Its scope now includes developing human and professional skills, preventing violence, and promoting coexistence and peacebuilding, raising awareness, and providing legal assistance, nurturing the talent of youth, and promoting the concepts of democracy, citizenship, and human rights. These activities are carried out in most governorates in Yemen through coordination of teams, with a focus on Taiz governorate, as well as in countries abroad with diaspora Yemeni communities.

About YWBOD

Youth without Borders Organization for Development (YWBOD) is a Yemeni NGO founded in 2013, which aims to support young men and women in social and political aspects of life including peacebuilding. YWBOD's headquarter is currently based in Taiz and works in many Yemeni governorates. YWBOD has previously implemented many projects targeting youth, women, local communities, and disadvantaged groups, contributing towards empowering and engaging them socially, politically and economically. Peacebuilding and security are two concerns on which YWBOD works at local and national levels.
